Imported from France, Raïka is out of an Italian father and a French mother. Raïka comes from a long line of champion beauty show dogs also selected for their good temperament. Her paternal grandfather is also IHT3, which is the highest level in traditional style herding in Europe, and many dogs in her line have passed their herding aptitudes test in Europe. She is very sweet and has an excellent temperament. She gets along well with other dogs, loves children, and is very close to humans. She adapts quickly to new things and new environments. Although she's also an active dog, her energy is more moderate than Faro's or Bali's.  ​

Raïka  has started her obedience training and she will be introduced to herding as well as agility and several other sports, in order to discover which one she prefers.  ​

When she was in France, Raïka participated in two beauty shows, where she received an Excellent mention each time. At her last show in France, she obtained her first CACS (Certificate of Aptitude of Conformity to the Standard) and finished 1st in her class.

Upon her arrival with us, Raïka was quickly entered in her first indoor show, one of the largest in Quebec. Despite the noise, the amount of dogs and people and the fact that she was absolutely not used to this environment, Raïka was exemplary. Despite her inexperience and the fact that she was being handled by a junior she had never seen before, she was chosen by Mr. Paul Lawless, an international judge and well-known Belgian breeder, as the best of the non-champion dogs, thereby obtaining her first championship points and her major.
